Dear all, I tried to use Automated Installer to install snv_124 build for SPARC on a customer's Sun SPARC workstation. The installation procedure seems to complete successfully (after numerous hours of downloading pkgs from pkg.opensolaris.org IPS), but after rebooting the machine, the machine rebooted itself continuously. I haven't had chance to look at boot message before it rebooted itself, but I guess it's the issue of this development build. I think I forgot to change the IPS server to "pkg.opensolaris.org/dev" and may this be the main issue of the failed install?
Has anyone ever successfully installed OSOL SPARC using AI? And which build did you use? Any gotchas need to be aware of?
