Hi: I found this during AI server setup testing. I had been installing osol 99 and onward to check this out.
With the test osol b101a rc1b, there is a problem with sysunconfig with happy face on by default. I install osol b101a rc1b and after I run sys-unconfig and reboot the system, I cannot see any sysid questions because they were hiding behind happy face. So I had to change the grub menu and disable happy face before I can see the questions as follow: The workaround is to remove the the following line: splashimage /boot/solaris.xpm - need to use d foreground d25f00 - need to use d background 115d93" lines - need to use d and ",console=graphics" in kernel$ line from the GRUB menu - need to use e After I disable happy face, I was able to see the sysid questions. If I need to file a bug, let me know which category to use for osol.
