x4540 Thor:
(and this happened in the x4240 as well with the latest installadm code)

/boot/grub/menu.lst looks odd, it has no boot kernel entries just this
comment:

# To enable grub serial console to ttya uncomment the following lines
# and comment out the splashimage line below
# WARNING: don't enable grub serial console when BIOS console serial
#       redirection is active!!!
serial --unit=0 --speed=9600
terminal serial

so I uncommented those two lines.

Also: In /boot/grub/install_menu I see the boot kernel options I'm
used to seeing in menu.lst,
and I changed the default from 0 to 1:

default=1
timeout=10
min_mem64 1024
title Solaris Express
         kernel$ /boot/platform/i86pc/kernel/$ISADIR/unix -B
install_media=cdrom
         module$ /boot/$ISADIR/x86.miniroot
title Solaris Express Serial Console ttya
         kernel$ /boot/platform/i86pc/kernel/$ISADIR/unix -B
install_media=cdrom,console=ttya
         module$ /boot/$ISADIR/x86.miniroot

I also typed "eeprom console=ttya" and after doing all of these I reboot
and nothing: my serial console ttya is dead (I access through ssh to
ilom and a start /SP/console

What is broken here, this stuff used to work?
Am I supposed to copy install_menu to menu.lst?

It does boot fine (other than using the opensolaris hostname....)
