Thank you, Jan Background: The goal of Auto Installer (AI) SMF service is to invoke the auto installer program. This service exists only during the process of installation. The FMRI name: svc:/system/auto-installer:default Start method: /lib/svc/method/auto-installer Start method will: - pick up service name from 'install_service' variable defined in GRUB menu.lst file - if not defined only default service is to be looked up - invoke AI service discovery engine (AISD) for obtaining location of given install service - invoke AI service choosing engine (AISC) which will connect to the machine looked up by AISD in order to obtain valid AI and SC (System Configuration) combined manifest - call AI engine for taking care of installation process The service will be delivered by SUNWauto-install package Please see AI design specification for more details.
