Hi, Sundar and All, Following is meeting minutes we talked about today.
Attendee: Sundar, Jeffrey 1. Code freeze 10/17, and dev is doing some unit test and smoke test. But there is not a testable binary release to QE. Develop will release a formal test version to QE by this Friday or Saturday. It will include both installadm-tool and AI image, and client install. 2. QE start to test from next Monday on the formal released test version.(This version should pass smoke test by development). Until 11/14, there will be 3 weeks to test. 3. For AI, test may contiune even after 11/24 which 2008.11 released, as AI will not go into the release media. 4. Sundar will update the Wiki, to list the resource to get the nightly build image. 5. QE's test assertions is under reviewing, with test goes on, more assertions may add in, but any changes need to publish to alias for review. 6. Development is discussing the behavior of partition and slice management, Jeffrey will concentrate on the testing of these area. And if any question, raise to alias. 7. CR report falls in following category: Development->installer->autoinstall ->installadm ->service 8. For default target (CR:4030), development has some updates, So Jeffrey also needs to update the test assertions. 9.
