Hi Jan,

You might want to try using the C program I'm attaching to this mail - 
just change the const strings as you see fit. It's short and badly 
written but it's worked for me. Do note that you will need to have an 
entry in /etc/passwd for each user or role you want to create a password 
for (root should be there, but jack might not be).
