My understanding is that SPARC uses a similar boot architecture to X86.  
While there isn't grub, per se, SPARC has a menu file similar to x86's 
rpool/boot/grub/menu.lst, called rpool/boot/menu.lst.  beadm puts 
similar info into this file as it does grub's menu.lst for X86.

I've not seen this file display on bootup; I don't think it is made 
visible, but it is there.  Perhaps Evan can shed more light on how it is 
used.
