Hi, Having heard of the great reviews of dwarf-caiman, I was going to present it to a group of 30.
The way the laptop HDD was configured was like this: Patition 1: 30 gb (windows, ntfs) partition 2: 20 gb (ntfs) partition 3: 25 gb (ntfs) So in the partion select step these are seen as ntfs, ntfs, ntfs.. I select the third, and change ntfs to solaris. And hit next, upon which I'm presented with a "Unsupported partitioning configuration" "SXDE does not support changing the partition type when two or more of that type exist on the disk. Please quit the installer .. run FDISK in the terminal window to create solaris partition. Then restart the installer." What possible connection might the number of NTFS partition have on installing solaris? The above configuration is _very_ common. A very big portion of the audience (only-windows users) is being cut off. Regards Anil
