I've been fixing a few ON bugs, using SXCE releases installed on a couple of AMD boxes. I like having the entire release on a single DVD image. Now I'd like to contribute to the Caiman project.
What development environment should I set up for this? Should I use one box for development and the other for testing, for example? Would Virtualbox be useful here? I did install osol-0906 in Virtualbox to see how it looked. I assume I'll have to migrate the development box from SXCE to Opensolaris as a first step. Is there a way to add all the Opensolaris packages to it? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
