Well, as part of preparation of JeOS I try to define some  possible 
OpenSolaris reduction strategies.
I think then what we need for VMC target Level 5 Pure CLI environment 
(Command line one with no X and GUI libs dependencies), this is same 
level which I target with JeOS design. This is the reason then JeOS like 
set of packages can be  a good as starting point for experiments.

AI Live-CD environment must be created to allow perform  common user 
tasks, so what will users do with VMC related Live-CD media when when 
they will "Drop to Shell" ?

Network boot based AI image need more Minimalization approach, Live-CD 
based AI image need  more reduction approach which will guarantee more 
richer functionality:
