The only drawback of this approach is that it leaves out all those who do not have a spare system with a T1 or better for testing. As long as there is no public testing planned this is all well and good but I rather liked being able to take things and try them out. Focusing on sun4u first would have given you many more pairs of eyes willing and able to look at the code.
