Just to set expectations here... The SC manifest is a stop-gap implemented to provide the minimal system configuration equivalent to that provided by the GUI installer, and is not intended to be equivalent to sysidcfg (which itself presents a fairly eclectic set of capabilities, I might add, and thus isn't a particularly appropriate design goal anyway). The intent is that this will be deprecated and an implementation based on SMF Enhanced Profiles will be the long-term answer. As such, we're likely to provide only absolutely critical extensions to the SC manifest because it's throw-away work. It would be helpful to differentiate between the "interesting" things noted in 6436 and ones that actually are required for critical use cases. Dave
