Sherman:

Our AI install server is an x86 running Opensolaris 2008.0811.  We can 
install 0906 106a and 2008.0811 on x86 with AI without any problem.

Please make sure that you are using the latest SUNWinstalladm-tools from
  for 0906 when you install osol-0906-106a.
