sys-unconfig was always the wrong answer for re-configuring systems outside of the Sun factory after pre-installation, which is what it was originally written for. Our continuing inability to ship proper tools to reconfigure the odd set of items sysidtool and sys-unconfig touched led to it being co-opted into more general use. Since the present sys-unconfig is more of an attractive nuisance than a useful tool with the inclusion of graphical boot, we're considering removing it from OpenSolaris. Dave
