We never specify formally the memory requirements to running DC,
because we made the assumption that people who wants to build
images would do so on pretty powerful machines.

Just for reference, a while back, I am able to successfully build images
using my laptop
with 2G of memory. A lot of things have changed recently, so,
I don't know what it really takes right now. My laptop with 4G of
memory was able to build images just fine a month ago, I have not
tried it recently. I have been building images on my other system
with 6G of memory the last couple of days, and it works well.

Please file a bug against the documentation for DC, so, we can
spend the time to figure out what's the requirement, and have it
documented formally.

Thanks,
