Hi, using distro-constructor to make a live dvd, I'd like to reduce the size of the image. In contrast to its name, slim_install requires numerous unnecessary packages like firefox or the czech language support. However trying without it leads to failures. First, the dependencies are so wrong that nothing seems to require the kernel. After adding SUNWcakr to the manifest the boot process of the iso crashes a few seconds later.
Apparently the low level stuff has to be done by hand. Since it takes too long to rebuild and test the image I am wondering if anyone has gone this path already and could share the minimal set of dependencies to get to a CLI login?
