I now have four publishers under opensolaris.org, and can't delete the other 3
(can't delete preferred publisher, and they are all preferred).

The reason I wanted to do this was that the pkg image-update was not working until I did a
pkg set-publisher -p http://ipkg.sfbay.sun.com/dev
as per Keith, but that was the fourth publisher.  I would like to clean up?
pkg unset-publisher does not seem to have any options to even play with this?

The above command contacts the repository and "fills in" the last parameter for you.

Great, thanks:

worked.  It would be good to document the last parameter a bit better.  I can't find any examples of how to use this  last parameter properly.  I lot of "use ipkg.sfbay" type statements around.

I just installed 134a and want to install some packages.

I did this command:
# pkg set-publisher -g http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev opensolaris.org

to set the repository to a developer repository (is this correct, I had
to guess at the last parameter, since this is not specified anywhere?

I them try stuff like:
# pkg install sunstudio12u1
Creating Plan |Planning for install failed:
Use -v option for more details

pkg: No solution was found to satisfy constraints

What am I doing wrong?

134a has not yet been published to pkg.openoslaris.org/dev.  It is only available from ipkg.  Please use the internal repository instead.

Cheers,
