I'm only vaguely aware of ON and where things might be, so you may want
to check with ON on what to do here.
You state that you're using the 2009.06 version of OpenSolaris - I'm
assuming you're also attempting to build a kernel variant that's based
off of the 2009.06 source. In that case, the IPS packages don't get
generated automatically - that didn't start happening until build 133 or
so - so apologies for sending you down the wrong path for a bit. If you
want to pursue the route of generating the IPS packages, you'll need to
use the importer from the pkg gate (ask on pkg-discuss about that one).

This one has me stumped... its like hitting the wall again n again.
I'm trying to use distro_const and i want to specify my custom compiled kernel
to be used with it. (Keith you told me that its somewhere in the SUNWcs and
SUNWcsd packages) but when i build my kernel, i only got SUNWcsd not the SUNWcs
(which is being pulled in from pkg.opensolaris.org/release).
Kindly advise, and i'm not looking for BFU, i want to have this kernel to be on
an ISO image thru distro_const. Just to let you know, i'm using 2009.06 version
of opensolaris.
