In converting my jumpstart configuration over to IPS, I need

how to do this whilst working with the install servers we
have. I think this is what I need to do, please correct me
if I'm wrong.
* start up pkg.depotd on a new IP/port# combination that
I can create the new IPS package with as per the guidelines
for creating packages (pkg send, etc.)
* create the new package that I need to install
* in the default.xml manifest that I use with the caiman
autoinstaller, I need to add my an additional package
repository authority using ai_pkg_repo_addl_authority.

new package, "finish-install".
Well, I might want to call "finish-install" by some other
name, such as "finish-darrenr-install" so that it isn't
likely to be found in any other package authority.
Then during the install, AI will query the various depotd's
and find finish-darrenr-install at my server and download
it from there.
Is that it in a summary?
Yes.
With pkgsend, I can create a package with a URI for the depot
using file://. Will AI recognise this? To be specific, will NFS and
automount'ing be available whilst the AI is running?
