Hello Caimaniacs,
many thanks to all who reviewed SCI tool design spec and provided comments.
As a result of that fruitful discussion, design specification for System
Configuration
Interactive tool has been updated in order to reflect received feedback.
The updated
version has been published on System Configuration project pages [1].
Besides already incorporated comments, there are additional topics which
require more
thoughts and are not yet finalized in updated spec:
* Interaction between SCI tool and CUD
During that first round of review, several concerns were raised about
consuming CUD in
a way currently described in design spec. Based on that, the final
approach will be subject
of further discussion.
* UI design
We will be cooperating with Frank Ludolph on appropriate design for
System Configuration
screens which are not currently available in text installer.
