Greetings,
As of changeset 2144 / 2ac203b826abd73edede95d2a5a75be0ed48dc10 in the
pkg(5) gate, the on-disk format for pkg(5) images has changed.
As an addendum:
Be aware that any custom data you have stored in /var/pkg will be lost
when the client's image format is upgraded! /var/pkg is a project
private area and is not intended for the storage of user data.
Please backup or move aside any user data in /var/pkg that needs to be
preserved.
Only the data that is used by the package system itself will be
preserved during the image format upgrade.
Finally, due to an oversight, if you have a repository in /var/pkg/repo,
it will also be lost if you are upgrading to build 153. A fix will be
delivered for build 154 that ensures that /var/pkg/repo is preserved if
it exists for users upgrading to 154 or later.
