Hi

Thanks, that worked to remove the libidn error. I was able to boot and start the AI installs.

What about all the other Errno messages?

Can you build all the way to an ISO to see if it will let you wget?

/usr/bin/distro-const -r ba-config /export/dcnightly/dc_ai_x86.xml

Lou Ann,

Could you try something for me?

On aconite.sfbay.sun.com, In /usr/share/distro_const/boot_archive_contents_x86.xml, can you change line 132 from:

<name>usr/lib/libidn.so.11.5.38</name>

to:

<name>usr/lib/libidn.so.11.6.2</name>

Once it's change, could you please just run the ba-init checkpoint?

/usr/bin/distro_const -r ba-init -p ba-config /export/dcnightly/dc_ai_x86.xml

After it's be re-run, can you check the log files to see if it mentions libidn.so again?

Hello,

I am trying to create nightly images to prepare for the coming build 156. I am using the new DC manifests on a system installed with my 156 nightly build. The distro_const finished, but there were many Errno messages like these.

2010-12-28 09:53:55,236 InstallationLogger.ba-init DEBUG [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '//export/dcnightly/ai/build_data/pkg_image/usr/lib/libidn.so.11.5.38'

Later when I created an install service using the AI ISO, I get these errors during booting.

Remounting root read/write
Probing for device nodes ...
Preparing automated install image for use
Downloading solaris.zlib
ld.so.1: wget: fatal: libidn.so.11: open failed: No such file or directory ld.so.1: wget: fatal: libidn.so.11: open failed: No such file or directory

This happen for both sparc and x86.

Can anyone tell me what I am missing?

You can look at the work areas at

/net/aconite.sfbay.sun.com/export/dcnightly (x86)

/net/ebony.us.oracle.com/export/dcnightly (sparc)

Just a quick note that we're looking into this ..
