Changes are minor:
- DNS client service should be disabled when DNS isn't configured, since it is enabled by default and goes offline because it lacks
needed configuration
- NIS client service should be enabled when NIS is selected (even when there
are no particular configuration values)
- the install logging formatter raises exceptions when log messages are not properly formatted. This seems to be a bit extreme.
The change is to catch the exception and to log the format string only with a warning.
