Hi Jon.

The Derived Manifests project allows one to assemble a manifest from partial ones. The AutoInstaller can now take a script instead of a manifest. The script can query the system and make calls to a new command, aimanifest(1M), to assemble a manifest based on what it finds and what it wants. Among its features is overlaying partial manifests to create a whole. While this isn't xinclude, it does let you create a manifest from pieces.

    Thanks,
    Jack

 Hi,

Did anything along the lines of xinclude ever get designed/implemented for AI manifests? I've found some discussion threads, but no reference to anything being implemented yet. Or did I simply miss it?
