Hi all,
I am playing with installadm command, testing all kinds of combinations of manifests, default manifests and criteria and I found that I don't know how to unset the already set criteria.

Using installadm set-criteria I can change the settings of criteria but I don't know how to clear it (for example to clear Ignored criteria for Default manifest or to make the given manifest Inactive).

Is there such command ?

There isn't a way to explicitly unset all criteria for an existing manifest in a service. There is an open RFE, 6977131, which is a general request to be able to remove criteria for an existing manifest using the set-criteria subcommand. This should include the first example case you've referenced above.

There hasn't been a request to allow a user to arbitrarily set a manifest to 'Inactive' state though that seems like it could be useful. Feel free to file one for this.

-ethan

If not - is that a bug that we don't have such command ?
