Paul:

Your OBP is kind of old and you should update to the latest level 4.29.2 since
you got seek mount error.

Since you also got Fast Access MMU on the T5240, I suspect the boot archive is
probably corrupted. Did you check the build 21 iso checksum and make sure they
are fine.

Does the same build 21 boots fine on other sparc machines ???

Subject: [caiman-discuss] T5240 solaris11 build 11 to 21 fails

All,

I've got a problem installing solaris11 build 11 and higher (up to build 21) on
a T5240

Get the following error:

{8} ok boot net:dhcp - install
Boot device: /pci@500/pci@0/pci@8/network@0:dhcp File and args: - install
/pci@500/pci@0/pci@8/network@0: 1000 Mbps link up

Note that solaris11 FCA (close to build 175a, right ?) is fine.

Not sure if it's the network or the disk, to be honest the ERROR message may be
caused by something else, like an error in the miniroot.

Help!

Paul
