Testing had been done as follow:
1. The slim_install_unit tests were run and there were no failure.
Results pointer is here:
/net/tcu27-01/export/home/ding/7190711//slim_source/usr/src/tools/tests
2. Build the package for x86. I updated an x86 build machine with
the packages and do x86 DC TI build with my packages and the
s11u1_23 repo.
I used the proposed usbcopy and copy the usb stick.
I booted the usb sticks on the following x86 systems and the grub
menu can come up.
line1-ultra20 - used to hang but now this works. Can also do install
and reboot
line2-ultra20 - used to hang but not this works.
line1-acerpower - used to hang but now this works. Can also do
install and reboot
line1-ultra24 - can boot and install
line2-ultra40 - can boot and install
line1-pogo - can boot and install
line1-ibmlenovo - can boot and install
line1-hpdx2300 - can boot and install
line1-hpdc7600 - can boot and install
line1-hpdc5700 - can boot and install
line1-hpdc5750 - can boot and install
tcu27-01 - can boot
line1-dellt1600 - can boot and install
