Hello, I have a question again but about the install of à client SPARC T1000 Entreprise Server by a Solaris 11 AI server install. The version of my server AI is an X86_64 VM with solaris 11.0 4 Gb of ram 1 Gb of swap 30 Gb of HDD
I have 2 virtual network devices (net0 and net1) on 2 differents VLANs. I have 2 Statics IP. My DHCP server is OK on it. I create my service with DHCP IP range (only one IP for my test), the sparc ISO of solaris 11 for my image (path of my image is in /etc/netboot/s11-sparc-dhcp) and enable it. I create my client, profile, manifest and put the good informations inside xml files. I even start the TFTP server on it who listen all IP address on UDP 69 (but its OK on local test with my IP (classe B) but access denied on the network) The directory of TFTP is on /etc/netboot like need for AI server and the writes are 777 (for my test) like under thes lines : :/etc/netboot# ls -ald . drwxrwxrwx 4 nobody root 7 Nov 5 17:39 . I read that tftp is not really important to do an install by BOOT DHCP because of the wan boot method for AI install isn't it ? So, can you tell me please if it is possible to install it without the last update of firmware ALOM with an other method than wan boot ? My firmware version of the ALOM is 6.7.0 and i read that i need the 6.7.11 or 6.7.12 update but i can't download it for the instant. The problem is when I try to start my install by the BOOT DHCP method with the command boot net:dhcp - install My T1000 server take the IP on my DHCP server (who is the VM and the AI server install) but after that, try a TFTP install method and i have this error : Timed out waiting for BOOTP/DHCP reply => I am sur that step is Ok because i did a ping of the IP who is OK at this moment TFTP Error: Access violation ERROR: boot-read fail I did a snoop on the VM and I saw the connexion of my T1000 and I even saw the tftp error. Can you help me please ? Thank you very much for your help. Regards, Hakim Une messagerie gratuite, garantie à vie et des services en plus, ça vous tente ? Je crée ma boîte mail www.laposte.net
