ok I've got it ! The dock normally drops some frames, to have a constant number of frames and to limit the CPU load. Except duraing a drag (to catch all "change icon" events) Hence the smoothness ^_^ So in your case, if you want more smooth animations, you can just increase the refresh frequency in the "System" module ;-)
