In fact if you enable this option (“Show only minimized applications”)
the taskbar isn't activated. So CD check if a window is minimized and
after that an icon is added to the dock...
I think it's not really a bug. Can you confirm Fabounet ?

Bug description:
Binary package hint: cairo-dock
I've set the settings to “Show only minimized applications”, so the icon
appears just after I minimize an application. But for that very reason, Compiz
doesn't find a place to send the animation, and instead of shrinking to the
dock, it shrinks to my pointer.
