any news on this bug ? I'm going to invalidate it, since it seems clear that the bug is not on the Dock's side.

Enable Compiz in my desktop. and using Cairo-dock No-OpenGL mode. Drag and drop from gnome menu to add new launchers into Dock is fine. But If I want add new launcher from my home directory (or other can be access directorys), that will be fail.
