Unfortunately I can't confirm the fix, I used to have a Chromium plugin for Zeitgeist so I had very long urls showing up in the Recent Events plugin. But the Chromium plugin no longer works so I can't replicate this...

Example: I'm using a Chromium plugin for Zeitgeist so Zeitgeist tracks my websites and some URLS are really long which makes the Recent Events pop-up be as long as 1000px or even more and there's no way to resize the window. It would be good if the very long names would be trimmed.
