I think that on Mint we should have a menu on left-click. Then, the first item is the 'shutdown', and is already selected, so you only have to press 'Enter'. Which is equivalent to middle-click and then press 'Ok'. Both work for me. Maybe we can have more info with the log: cairo-dock -l debug
