Maybe Cinnamon doesn't set correctly the names of workspaces, and only set them internally.
You can try the following: xprop -root | grep _NET_DESKTOP_NAMES Also, try setting a name from the applet (right-click), see if it updates correctly the root window with the previous command, and if it's taken into account by Cinnamon. Thank you ! 2013/3/11 Jamie Macdonald <[email protected]> > Should be "hey" and "blah". These are set from using Cinnamon's "Hot > Corner" and filling in the text fields for workspace names. > > -- > You received this bug notification because you are a bug assignee. > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1125623 > > Title: > Switcher hover-text does not correspond to Linux Mint Workspace names > > Status in Cairo-Dock: Plug-ins: > Fix Committed > > Bug description: > cairo dock 3.1.0 > Linux Mint 14 64bit, Cinnamon Desktop 1.6.7 > > http://ge.tt/1xlSeUY?c > > To manage notifications about this bug go to: > https://bugs.launchpad.net/cairo-dock-plug-ins/+bug/1125623/+subscriptions > -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Cairo- Dock Devs, which is subscribed to Cairo-Dock Plug-ins. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1125623 Title: Switcher hover-text does not correspond to Linux Mint Workspace names Status in Cairo-Dock: Plug-ins: Fix Committed Bug description: cairo dock 3.1.0 Linux Mint 14 64bit, Cinnamon Desktop 1.6.7 http://ge.tt/1xlSeUY?c To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cairo-dock-plug-ins/+bug/1125623/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~cairo-dock-team Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~cairo-dock-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
