Because of video driver issues, I get flickering with any other gl-based
application when run together, so I prefer to use -c option, but get the
"ugly black bar". I can't find the fake transparency option so I had
prior to upgrade that fixed this.
I now also get a hard border that is invisible above and below the bar
(draw distance) that renders anything behind it unable to see or click
on. Not sure if this is a side effect of that feature being missing as
well, but seems like some things got lost from 3.1.2 I was using
perfectly prior.
