Sorry for the delay. I don't know... the bug comes either from the dock or from the indicator... When the icon should be displayed or updated, the indicator sends a signal. The dock update the dock and create the icon only if it received the name of the icon or the pixbuf. Then the image is created (only if the name is correct or the pixbuf exists).
If there is something wrong, I guess it's because we receive a wrong pixbuf (or the pixbuf is not created yet (when the signal is sent) or it's empty). Is it maybe possible to launch the dock with this command, reproduce the bug and then post the 'cd-log.txt' file which should be in your home directory after having quit the dock: $ cairo-dock -l debug -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Cairo- Dock Devs, which is subscribed to Cairo-Dock Plug-ins. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1175615 Title: Transparent printer indicator (icon) Status in Cairo-Dock: Plug-ins: Confirmed Bug description: Using Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS 32bit, updated today, kernel 3.2.0-41.66 Cairo dock 3.2.1 & Unity disabled, Canon MX328 printer Printer indicator didn't appear while printing.
