Thinking about this further, I think what I'm trying to do may be possible if I could rename /app/webroot.
Anyone know if this can be done? In this way: cake root --> vhosts app --> domainname.com webroot --> httpdocs Then all of plesk's files and folders could continue to live inside domainname.com and httpdocs in harmory with the cake stuff. Plesk won't care about the cake stuff inside vhosts. I'm not sure if it's doable to rename webroot though. Especially if I would like the cake root to be easily upgradeable. The other gotcha that can come out of this is that plesk's default mode creates both an httpdocs and an httpsdocs to segregate secure content from vanilla content. While I personally always elect Plesk's option to combine the two under httpdocs, that would mean my solution may not be applicable to other people trying to do the same thing. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cake PHP" group.
