I like _javascript_ (a little more than PHP, to be sincere) and prototype is a great library. But the possibility of not switch your mindset between languages is very attractive to me. Also it is the oportunity to do it in a more Cakeish style.

I'm working in something too Rossoft. I'm going to publish some examples later this week.

Why anyone would want to write client-side code on the server is beyond
me.  Prototype and script.aculo.us have already made _javascript_ coding
as simple as it needs to be.

What I *can* see the value of is a method like
_javascript_Helper::object( ), that will convert PHP objects and arrays
into JSON, which allows you to push raw data directly to the client.
