Yes I see that it is an index() of the PostsController. It is not implementing the findAll method it is using an instance of the Posts model to ask the model for information..

Let me try to explain this again

$this->set('posts', $this->Post->findAll());

What this is saying is PostsController set the variable $posts for the view using data retrieved from the Post model.
