I have designed pseudo coded, then php coded a web Wizard based on the 
pattern described in the two articles below.  It has blown me away how 
quick it was to design and implement (half a day).  And how easy it is 
to maintain.

If you are thinking about implementing a wizard I strongly recommend 
that you read the articles below and adapt the design.  Cake has all of 
the goodies necessary to do the job and it results in an easy to 
maintain controller.

If anyone would like to know more, just let me know and I can post some 
code.
