And just as an example, I'm planning to create an application that will have multiple "wizard" controllers that will be responsible for all sorts of tasks like creating customers, adding inventory to a sale and apply that sale to the customer's record, etc. It would be clumsy to have the validation code copied into each wizard controller, but I don't see where the manual addresses a better way to do this within the model...
