Cake's is about that. Among other, it's a sort of missing link between databases and web forms.

Have you data that should go in one or multiple database tables ?

If it is one, the blog tutorial will be sufficient. You'll probably just have to strip it down to get what you need.

If you have multiple tables, the book tutorial will help you to understand how to handle relations.
