I don't know the reason why javascript doesn't function right in cake. All I want is a float ad. on one side of a webpage, but...I have tried 3 methods (3 javascripts), they are all working well without cake (I'm sorry, but it's true). As soon as I add my javascript to controller/view, it doen't run as I expected.
