Do you have a model named "Email" aswell...?
If you put:
e("Start Debug<br>Here's Email:);
pr ($this->Email);
e("Here's email:);
pr ($this->email); // Just to be sure
e("<br>End Debug:);
$this->Email->controller = $this;
There might be something tangible to use and say what the error is.
