Hi, my name is Nate, and I'm a core developer of the CakePHP project. I also frequent this mailing list and answer questions as I have time to do so. Sometimes, when I answer a question, there might be one or more follow-up questions, and that's okay.
What's not okay is emailing those follow-up questions to me directly. Not only are you denying future readers the benefit of the information being exchanged, but you could also be denying yourself a quicker answer, since there are other people on the list who may know the answer to your question, and may be able to get to it more quickly than I can. If you have something specific to tell me, would like to speak in private, or are answering a particular question that I asked you, the answer to which wouldn't be relevant to many other people, then by all means, email me. But if you are writing to remind me to answer a question you asked, or to follow up with more information about a problem you are having, do yourself and everyone else a favor and email the list, not me. Thank you all for your time, and have a nice day. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cake PHP" group.
