In regards to the screencasts at http://cakephp.org/screencasts, can I confirm that they are still up to date in that they do not contain any referrences to functions or syntax that have since changed in subsequent upgrades?
Without a date indicating when it was first posted of when it was last updated, it's hard to know in advance.
