thank you for your help. I already read the mentioned posts, but they
wasn't as helpful as yours! :-)
I test the way you suggest in your first post, but run in trouble to
create the appropriate fields.
You wrote I should use this method call to get all data:
$this->set('companies',
$this->Company->findAll(NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL, 2));

The output of $companies in my view shows the correct data, but I've no
clue how to create the input fields. Can I use the HtmlHelper for this
or do I have to create them "manually"?
