Hi All, AJAX and requestAction are unrelated, my comment was wrt how to organise code.
If you are using renderAction to pull info from another controller method, to then pass it to the view and be processed by an element - that's quite round the houses. I don't know if that /is/ what the intention was, which is why I asked 'why'.
