I know some people out there hate Paypal, but I happen to like them. I am looking at using the IPN with my CakePHP application to confirm order payment. What I am wanting to know is if anyone has done this in a CakePHP way yet? Or am I building the car starting with the frame?
Would you suggest using one of the various Paypal PHP scripts out their to write the data directly to the database and just use CakePHP to display the order as paid? I am just wanting to see if someone has setup Paypal IPN as a vendor and had IPN post to a CakePHP URL.
