Aren't those before filters wonderful? All those before and after callbacks are so wonderful and make CakePHP SO much more flexible than even before. Very elegant solution. I knew there had to be a way to set the fullDebug to false.
Regardless with the release you shouldn't EVER have to hack the cake core.
